Right now, Peter is going through a stage where he is filled with joy when he recognizes something and call it by name. The most common things this occurs with right now are: planes, trucks, cars, and any type of animal.
His excitement is so great that he just points and shouts "Truck! Truck! Truck! Truck!" But his joy is not complete until Josh or I acknowledge "Yes Peter! I see! It's a Truck!"
What a beautiful picture of our joy in Christ.
On this earth we seek to serve Christ with joyful hearts and find joy in Him. But our joy will not be complete until we are with the Father in Heaven and he is acknowledging us as his children.
Take a moment with me to meditate on how incomprehensible our joy will be in Heaven when we are face to face with our Savior!

"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so wewill always bewith the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
